Description du poste
In Short
As a key member of the Communication team, the Content Production Coordinator plays an essential role in bringing the Freeride World Tour to life through video. From pre-season to post-season, they work closely with the Content Manager to plan, edit, and deliver a wide range of video projects. They coordinate with cameramen and various stakeholders, combining strong editing skills, creativity, and organization to produce fast, engaging, and high-quality content that captures the energy and spirit of the Tour.
What the FWT
The Freeride World Tour (FWT) team is composed of 20-25 young and passionate staff based near Lausanne, Switzerland. They work year-round to organize the five-stop Freeride World Tour circuit, which includes the well-known Xtreme Verbier event. Additionally, the team coordinates over 60 Freeride World Qualifier (FWQ) events and 60 Freeride Junior Tour (FJT) events worldwide, and oversees a global community of 10’000+ licensed riders.
This entails a lot of work and travel, but also means spending time at events (and occasionally sharing a drink) with the Freeride World Tour Family. This unique community includes over 120 people, including external staff, riders, and partners. Working with FWT is a life-changing experience that allows you to meet inspiring individuals and grow on both personal and professional levels.
The work environment is dynamic and occasionally disorganized but encourages proactivity and the sharing of new ideas regardless of position or background, all with a focus on the big picture in which everyone plays a crucial role. Micro-management and hierarchy are not part of our vocabulary, and the status quo gives us nightmares. Telework and flexible work arrangements are promoted, though physical teamwork is also emphasized as necessary for success
Meet the Team
At its core, the Communication team produces content and tells compelling stories about the competitions and riders of the Freeride World Tour. With five worldwide stops, the FWT is recognized as the pinnacle of Competitive freeriding and is supported by over 200 Qualifier and Junior events worldwide.
If you’re looking for an environment where ideas (not always the smartest) are flying around, and where you can participate in international projects with a real impact, then this opportunity is for you! If you enjoy challenging the status quo and hearing “We’ve always done it this way” makes you jump out of your skin, even better!
The Freeride World Tour Communication team is composed of passionate individuals from different cultures and backgrounds who work together towards a common vision. Expect a good dose of 5-star fun and humor!
Your Missions
The Video Coordinator plays a crucial role in producing and delivering high-quality video content throughout all phases of the Freeride World Tour season. While the role includes a variety of responsibilities, the main focus is on editing during the pre-season, on-site event season, and post-season.
While you’ll touch many areas of production, your main focus will be editing, working in a fast-paced environment where quick turnarounds and high standards are essential. We’re looking for someone who considers themselves, above all, an editor, highly skilled in Premiere Pro, with knowledge in After Effects, and ready to lead projects independently.
In the pre-season, you’ll search archives to find old-school and engaging footage, creating edits that build anticipation ahead of the tour. Also, you will play a big role in creating the pre-season edits for the Junior and Qualifier Tour.
On-site during events, you’ll oversee GoPro operations, capture behind-the-scenes action, film with the riders and FWT Staff, and quickly produce dynamic edits such as “GoPro Moments” and daily highlights.
After the season wraps, you’ll be responsible for delivering partner videos, post-season highlights, and archiving all footage carefully.
Beyond editing, you should be comfortable filming outdoors while using both professional video gear and GoPros.
Being organized, autonomous, and calm under pressure is key — you’ll often be handling several projects at once while maintaining a sharp creative eye.
Experience in live events, sports, or action sports content is a strong plus.
This is a hands-on, demanding role suited for a talented editor who thrives in dynamic environments and loves being close to the action.
