Position Overview

The Sales Operations Manager at Hydro Flask will join a small yet passionate team who are building and leading the fast-growing brand in the EMEA region. Reporting to David Ledouble, Managing Director EMEA, the Manager will be part of an empowered, collaborative team that embodies our values and culture. As a key member of our European team, the Manager will drive and manage internal sales operations that support the Hydro Flask EMEA business. Manage the relationship between company, distributors, agents and internal cross-functional teams to deliver best in market and category service to our customers.


Sales operations and account management

• Assure that dealer service operations are working smoothly and within system requirements: account maintenance, terms and conditions, and customer orders.

• Work closely with sales agents and distributors to assure timely and accurate sales order processing and delivery.

• Hold and lead recurring meetings with HoT Europe (KAZ) teams

• Ensure proactive communication with retailers and key accounts, sales agents and distributors.

• Ensure proactive communication with 3PL and internal logisitics team

• Ensure proactive communication with HoT Europe office on commissions, customer credit, and accounting needs.

Sales analysis, demand planning and forecasting

• Work with MD, distributors, and sales teams to create sales forecasts by region and product.

• Prepare, review and distribute recurring reports on unit and revenue analysis to inform product orders and financial reporting.

• Work with HoT Europe and Macau teams on monthly forecasting and supply planning

• Look for trends and identify areas of concern and opportunity to sales, operations, and company leadership through regular revenue and unit analysis.

• Drive special projects as needed

Distributors management

• Actively drive and support distributors to develop sales on the territories

• Coordinate seasonal review process to ensure continual alignment.

• Work closely with distributor on creating and executing launch plans and follow through on market/channel/retail developments per agreed to distribution plan

• Share the sales responsibility of the distributors’ markets

Customization business unit management

• Participate in finalization of Customization BU setup

• Actively drive the Customization BU with internal & external stakeholders

• Coordinate order management, salesteam and customer communication

• Build assets for to help us push customization with external partners (sales, PR, media, dealers, industry…)

• Work closely with internal teams (KAZ, HQ) and external partners (engraver, printer, 3PL)


 Profil requis
 Requirements & track record

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations and/or Planning and/or Distributors Management

• 5 years’ experience in a related industry in sales or operations: Outdoor, Sporting goods or Consumer goods

• Prior position as Customer Service Manager, In-House Sales Coordinator, Jr International Sales Manager

• Experience in managing customer service teams and key account relationships

• Experience in managing international distributors

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

• Fluent in German and/or French (spoken and written)

• Another European language is an asset

• Strong customer oriented and relationship building skills

• Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions

• Proven ability to manage revenue plans

• Track records in organization and planning and team management

• Ability to communicate and foster relationships with cross functional teams

• Savvy with MS Office and extensive use of Excel

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously

• Flexibility to work in a small yet fast growing organization
