 Outdoor Sports Valley was created in 2010, and is the French national trade association whose goal is to federate companies in the outdoor sports industry. It serves the industry through several action areas: economic development, employment, education & training, promoting participation in sports, sustainable development, and innovation. OSV counts more than 440 member companies representing over 480 brands, including major international companies such as Salomon, The North Face, Oakley, Picture Organic Clothing, Patagonia, Hoka One One, Eider, Millet, Snowleader, and many more.

Your Role:

Organizing industry events represents one of Outdoor Sports Valley's key roles. We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and proactive individual to provide support to the events team in several ways:
  • Coordinate projects and events for OSV, working closely with every member of the OSV team,
  • Create, design, and send relevant communications tools,
  • Write news articles for the website,
  • Update the website,
  • Logistical support and presence at OSV events (OSV Cocktails and Networking, Activ'OSV, OSV breakfast meetings, Outdoor Show, Before du High Five, Digital x Outdoor) and partner events. 
You will be involved in OSV's daily operations and your responsibilities will include providing support to the executive team in its role serving the outdoor sports industry. You are an independent and proactive person who thrives on taking the initiative.


 Required profile
 Currently a student studying for a business or events communication degree, either in your last (4th) year of school or earning a Master's, you know and/or have experience in the outdoor sports industry and want to work in event organization.

You are someone overflowing with energy and enthusiasm, dive into every project with verve and commitment, and you like to work as part of a team. You play well with others, have an analytical mind, are versatile, and solve problems fast. You know how to take the initiative. You are well organized, meticulous, and professional in a work environment.

A first experience in event organization (including related logistics) is required, and you should be comfortable writing copy and proofreading your own prose. It goes without saying that an excellent writer also rarely makes spelling mistakes and knows how to use all basic office software applications.

Desktop publishing and computer graphics (Adobe) skills are a plus, in addition to a touch of creativity. Knowing how to edit and take (sound and lighting) video is also a plus.

OSV operates in an international environment, you should be comfortable speaking and writing French and English, German is a real plus.

Driver's license required.
