 Job description
 Outdoor Sports Valley was created in 2010, and is the French national trade association whose goal is to federate companies in the outdoor sports industry. It serves the industry through several action areas: economic development, employment, education & training, promoting participation in sports, sustainable development, and innovation. OSV counts more than 400 member companies representing over 480 brands, including major international companies such as Salomon, The North Face, Oakley, Picture Organic Clothing, Patagonia, Hoka One One, Eider, Millet, Snowleader, and many more.

Your Role:

Providing member companies and promoting the outdoor sports industry represents one of Outdoor Sports Valley's key roles. We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and proactive individual to provide support to the communications team in several ways:

Daily responsibilities:

- Write copy and content (articles, newsletters, press releases…)

- Community management

- Manage and update our website in both French and English

- Create and design OSV's print and web communications tools

Participation in OSV's overall communications strategy:

- Work on redesigning OSV's website (strategy and graphic design)

- Implementation of our new CRM


- Presence and help with organization and logistics at OSV events (OSV Cocktails and Networking, Activ'OSV, OSV Annual General Assembly, Before du High Five),

- Participate in organizing the 2018 OSV internship forum.

You will play a role in developing OSV's communications strategy and in day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities include providing support to the executive team and in adapting OSV's communications tools and strategy to each action area. You are well organized, independent, and are comfortable taking on a considerable amount of responsibility.


 Required profile
 Currently a student studying for a business or communications degree, either in your last (4th) year of school or earning a Master's, you are interested in working in the outdoor sports industry and would like to grow your network within the industry.

You are someone overflowing with energy and enthusiasm, dive into every project with verve and commitment, and you like to work as part of a team. You play well with others, have an analytical mind, are versatile, and solve problems fast. You know how to take the initiative. You are well organized, meticulous, and professional in a work environment.

You love to write, studied hard to become a spelling bee champion when you were a kid, and know the ins and outs of office software applications. Desktop publishing and computer graphics (Adobe) skills are a plus, in addition to a tablespoon (or even a soup ladle) of creativity. Knowing how to edit video is also a plus.

OSV operates in an international environment; you should be comfortable speaking and writing both French and English.


 Contract  6 month full time internship (35hrs)
